Description
LC-E324 is a single or two side coated, 175⁰F (79⁰C) flame retardant epoxy glass prepreg designed for a multitude of sandwich panel construction(s) as well as multiple ply laminates. This system can be used in a low tack version (press applications) or high tack and drape for complex contours and shapes.
Advantages
LC-E324 demonstrates excellent adhesion and toughness using press, vacuum bag or autoclave processing. The wide range of cure cycles allows LC-E324 to exhibit higher elongation thus increased compatibility with numerous composite materials. This system also allows the user to manufacture parts while using lower cost tooling due to the lower temperature cure. Excellent strength and toughness allow for LC-E324 to perform well in a variety of finished part shapes and sizes. Low volatiles have also proven ideal for low void, multiple ply lay ups.

Processing/Cure Cycle Recommendations
LC-E224 can be processed at temperatures from 175⁰F. (79⁰C.) for 360 minutes to 250⁰F. (121⁰C.) for 60 minutes using low, medium or high pressure. Using a 175⁰F (79⁰C) cure for 360 minutes is optimal in most cases using press, vacuum bag or autoclave processing with 25 psi pressure.
